The winch was constructed and installed on the "Naftilos" oceanic research boat. It is autonomous, electrohydraulic, of naval type. It carries a wire rope drum, two bluff drums, a drum clutch, an autonomous, manual, mechanical drum brake and the ability for drum to freely rotate.
